Patriotic Shows and Summer Concerts!
We enjoy creating music to honor many types of holidays and especially love performing concerts. Many towns and parks departments request us to play concerts around the 4th of July
or Veterans Day because our musical library is filled with popular melodies to
stir the patriotic soul.
Sure we have the Star
Spangled Banner, America The Beautiful and My Country Tis of Thee.
 But
the band really gets the audience involved when we play our “Military Tribute”
featuring the musical anthems of the Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Air Force
& Navy. We get the kids up on stage with “R.O.C.K. In the USA and we get
everyone dancing with our twist contests and music trivia prizes.
For the finale of our Tribute
to America or Veterans Appreciation
Concerts our singers perform "God Bless America" ala Ray Charles
or “God Bless The USA" ala Lee Greenwood to leave everyone standing, singing,
cheering and asking for more. Our concerts have played to as few as fifty people to as many as 15,000. But it does not matter the size of the crowd nor the ages involved. The Andrew Thielen Big Band always delivers the same great show.
